The widow of Professor Richard Whipp, a former member of staff at the University who passed away in 2005, recently visited the Institute to see the laboratory named in memory of her husband.
Mrs Anne Whipp was able to see first hand the work carried out in the Tissue Culture Laboratory that bears Prof Whipp’s name after the generous donation made to the Institute. "We were more than happy to show Mrs Whipp not only the Tissue Culture Lab," said Prof Alan Clarke, "but also how this facility fits in with the other work conducted here at the Institute."
