A south-Wales’ radio presenter will soon be able to welcome his early morning listeners in English and Welsh after enrolling on a Welsh language course at the University’s Welsh for Adults Centre.
Dan Mills, who presents the breakfast show on Red Dragon FM has recently taken part in a week-long introductory course to the language run by Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan Welsh for Adults Centre.
Following the language taster sessions, he and other members of the radio station’s breakfast team will enrol on the WPLAN course at the Centre, which offers a fast-track method of learning the language.
The Centre offers a number of courses which cater for beginners through to advanced Welsh speakers, and a variety of different ways of learning the language.
The full range of courses, many of which start later this month (September 2008) can be found at www.learnwelsh.co.uk
