December 2011 Matthew Hall was awarded the Cyril Beere Memorial Trophy for Best New Composition or Arrangement at the Brass in Concert Championships for the second year in succession.
7 November 2011 Matthew Hall: Matthew’s work ‘The Smile’ debuted at the Royal Albert Hall. It was performed by the Gloucestershire Youth Brass Band during the Music for Youth Schools Proms.

June 2011 Matthew Hall: As Composer-in-Residence with Tredegar Town Band, Matthew arranged three pieces to perform for fans at Wembley Stadium before the 2011 Champions League Final.

2011 Eoghan Neff: Eoghan collaborated with renowned Icelandic composer, Atli Örvarsson, on his score for Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald’s latest film, The Eagle, described by Sheri Linden of the Los Angeles Times as an “outstanding score.”
