Our application for a Research
Training Network in "Quantum Spaces - Noncommutative Geometry" was
"favourably evaluated" and we are currently negotiating a contract for
1,400,000 euros. The primary nodes of the network will be Cardiff,
CNRS, Copenhagen, Cork, Muenster, Oslo and Rome. It is expected that
the network will commence on 1 June 2002 and run for 42 months.
