What are the start and finish times of courses?
For the majority of courses we ask that delegates arrive at 9.15am for a start time of 9.30am. Courses typically finish at 4.30pm. Accredited courses start at 9am and typically finish at 5pm. Individual joining details will be sent 2 weeks before the course to confirm specific course details

A purchase order is a financial agreement between two parties prior to an invoice being sent. Not all organisations use these so please check with the person responsible for finance and purchasing within your organisation, for confirmation or to raise the order. If you do not use purchase orders, please add a reference that will make sense to you e.g. CU course

No, as a Higher Education Institute we do not charge VAT on any of our courses
Do you provide lunch and refreshments?
Please check the details on the individual course pages for what will be included Please let us know when booking if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies.

No, currently fees must be paid in a one-off payment prior to the course start date.
I’ve seen a course I would like to attend, how do I reserve a place?
You can complete an online booking form on the relevant course page by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button. You will then have the option for us to send you an invoice (applicable to organisations only) or to pay with a debit or credit card via our secure payment system. Alternatively you can print off and complete our booking form and return it to us by email/post.

Yes, you will receive both an on-screen confirmation and an email confirming your booking has been received. You will receive full joining details, including times, location and a map as well as any pre-course tasks, approximately 10 days prior to the course start date, or 15 working days for more intense courses
Where are the courses held?
The course venue will vary dependent on the course you are booking onto. However, the majority of courses are typically held at the Continuing & Professional Education Division of Cardiff University, 21-23 Senghennydd Road, Cardiff, CF24 4AG. Venue information will be confirmed within the joining details that are sent out prior to the start of the course.

Car parking in the university car parks is extremely limited and therefore not available for course delegates. However, there are several short and long-stay public car parks located close to the university; details are provided on the map which is sent out to delegates prior to the start of the course. There is also on-road car parking available in the area surrounding the venue, where a Cardiff Council pay and display system is in operation.

What happens if I am unable to attend the course?
If you contact us in writing at least 10 working days before the start of the course (or 15 working days for PRINCE2 and MSP courses) then you can transfer to the next available course date at no extra cost.
