New Pathway to a degree
in Social Science

Would you like to work towards a degree in Social Science?

You now have the opportunity to realise your learning potential.

We will ease you in gently...

  • Begin your studies in the friendly and informal environment at Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning where you will be allocated a personal tutor who will advise you throughout your entire degree until you graduate.

  • You will work in a small group of around 20 students so you always have personal support.

  • You will visit main undergraduate lectures in the School of Social Sciences so you become familiar and comfortable with undergraduate studies.

  • There will also be guest lectures from experts in the field.

Sessions to start you on your learning journey...

  • will start on 18 September 2012 and meet every Tuesday from 6.30 to 9.00pm. Your tutor will introduce you to issues such as class and identity, crime and punishment, new forms of work and employment and education policy.

    This intensive course in Social Science and study skills will you give you all the skills you will need to succeed in your degree.

  • Two Saturday Schools on 13 October and 10 November from 10.00am to 3.00pm. This intensive course in Social Science and study skills will you give you all the skills you will need to succeed in your degree.
