Humanities

Co-ordinating Lecturer(s)

The Humanities programme provides high quality courses for anyone interested in culture. We offer an exciting and varied range of courses in a number of subject areas, designed to suit all tastes and specifically tailored to adult learners. 2014 marks the centenary year of the outbreak of the First World War. To observe this significant anniversary, themes of remembrance, war and commemoration will be encountered in several of our courses across the programme.

All of our courses are taught by knowledgeable and experienced tutors and take place in a friendly and supportive learning environment. Enrol now to learn new skills, improve your job prospects, or challenge yourself to study at university level and get a qualification. Many of our students progress onto undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, become teachers, or even become professional writers or musicians. To help you to accumulate credits we offer the opportunity to gain a Foundation Certificate or Certificate in Higher Education. Please contact Dr Nick Jones (details above) to discuss your options.
