The courses in the Business and Management Studies section will help develop your cv to put you in a strong position in the job market. You have the opportunity to gain a Foundation Certificate in Business and Management Studies with 60 credits from any of the courses in this section. The Joint Foundation Certificate with a Language offers students the chance to take an exciting combination of courses. Don’t forget to look at the Members section to make the most of the offers you may be entitled to.
The well-established Marketing courses are expanding in a new Social direction. Leadership and a Strategic approach to both business and marketing will assist in professional development. Managing People and Managing Finance are essential skills for all.

Examples include Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen, The Big Issue and Divine Chocolate. The course provides an overview of this new approach to business practice for delivering social, economic and environmental value.

The approach uses the principle of audience orientation to achieve sustainable behaviour change.
