The Music Library is located in the newly refurbished Library Wing of Aberdare Hall.
Access
- Located on the ground floor of the library wing of Aberdare Hall, next to the School of Music on Corbett Road. The library wing is behind two sets of wrought iron gates
- Parking for the disabled is available at the Redwood Building across the road from Aberdare Hall
- An accessible toilet is provided on the ground floor of Aberdare Hall
- The counter/information desk is low level
- The library is small and in most cases wheelchair users will need to ask staff to assist them with accessing books, journals and scores
- There are eight networked computers in the Multimedia Room, but students are also encouraged to use IT facilities in the many nearby libraries

Further information
The Music Library provides information services for the School of Music. It focuses on music research materials and houses a wide selection of books, journals and scores as well as CDs and DVDs. The music reference collection includes dictionaries, encyclopaedias, catalogues of special collections and composer bio-bibliographies. There are also several collected edition score series of important academic interest. Music special collections are held in SCOLAR. Music materials for the University's LEARN programme can be found in the Senghennydd Library. Supportive materials for the School of Music's two research centres can be found in the Music Building.
