Training schedule 2012-13

The Health Library will be running workshops throughout the year on effective searching, information skills and using reference management software and social media. The sessions are primarily aimed at people who have limited experience of these skills. Workshops are open to staff and postgraduate students from the Health professions at Cardiff University.

A look at how to keep up to date with current research published in your field including how to set up email alerts and RSS feeds.

 Managing your references using EndNote

An introductory workshop to EndNote where you will gain hands on experience of its main features. EndNote allows you to bulk import references from databases and can insert references into a word document creating a bibliography in the style of your choice.

 EndNote Web - an introduction

An introductory workshop to EndNote Web where you will gain hands on experience of its main features. EndNote web offers the advantage of sharing your libraries with colleagues and remote access anywhere connected to the web.
