About the Poster Service
Posters for scientific meetings, conferences, promotional use, etc., are produced by our Poster Service on one piece of semi-gloss paper, printed on a large-format, high resolution, ink jet printer.
The Service is available for Cardiff University staff and students, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, External Trusts and private companies/individuals.
You can prepare your poster using a suitable graphics software program, such as PowerPoint (our standard system software) or if you don't have access to a computer or have never used PowerPoint or other graphics programs, you can take advantage of our Poster Design Service (please note that this Design Service is limited and is subject to current workload restrictions).
We are able to print posters from both PC and Apple Mac computer platforms.
Please remember that demand for posters tends to follow a seasonal pattern, and the Service can become extremely busy at times, therefore, to avoid disappointment, you should submit your poster file to us as soon as possible.

Alternatively, you can supply us with a high-resolution pdf, jpg or tif file, but please note we are unable to edit these types of file.
