J-Z list of UK and EU related law ejournals at Cardiff University

Full text electronic journals are available to all students and staff of Cardiff University.

Many electronic journals can be accessed from home or other off-campus locations using your Cardiff University network username and password.

To access the full text of electronic journals over the internet you can choose to:

• Select journals from the J to Z list below or the A to I list of electronic journals, or
• Use LibrarySearch to search for both electronic and printed journals

How to use the J-Z list of UK and EU related Law ejournals at Cardiff University

Click on a journal title to be taken to its database homepage, login screen or to login information for a journals's host database.

CU Login indicates that you may need to use your Cardiff University Login username and password to access the journal.

Please note that due to publisher's contracts with HeinOnline you may find there is a delay in the release of certain recent full text copies of articles held on that database.

A-Z list of UK and EU related law ejournals - Help

Lexis®Library

Searching UK and EU related law journals on Lexis®Library

To access the search screen for UK and EU related law Journals on Lexis®Library, from the Home page click on Journals on the navigation bar. Followed by Journals on the left of the screen. With the Sources field set as All Subscribed Cases Sources enter your search terms and carry out your search.

To search an individual UK and EU related law journal held on Lexis®Library, from the Home page click on Journals on the navigation bar. Followed by Journals on the left of the screen. At the Journals search screen click More sources, followed by Legal Journals. A list of all the UK and EU related law journals held on Lexis®Library will appear on the screen. Click on the title of the journal that you want to search then click on OK - Continue. You will be returned to the journals search screen where your chosen journal will appear in the Sources field. Enter your search terms and click Search.

Browsing UK and EU related law journals on Lexis®Library

To browse the contents of the UK and EU related law journals on Lexis®Library, from the Home page click on Journals on the navigation bar, followed by Journals on the left of the screen to be taken to the Journals search screen, then click on Browse on the left hand side of the screen to display a list of all the UK and EU related law journals held on Lexis®Library. The contents of the journals can be viewed by clicking on the + (plus) sign to the left of a law report series title, then drilling down through the contents of the holdings using the + (plus) to the left of each heading. Click on a article title to view the full text of a journal.

Westlaw UK

Searching UK and EU related law journals on Westlaw UK

To access the search screen for UK and EU related law Journals, from the home page click Journals from the links at the top of the screen, to be taken to the basic Journals search screen, then click on Advanced Search to access additional fields to enable a more detailed search. Enter your search terms and click on Search.

To access a search screen of an individual UK and EU related law journal held on Westlaw, from the home page click Journals from the links at the top of the screen to be taken to the basic Journals search screen, click on Full Text Articles at the bottom of the screen then click on the relevant journal title. You will be taken to a search screen for your chosen journal. Enter your search terms and click Search.

Browsing UK and EU related law journals on Westlaw UK

From the home page click Journals from the links at the top of the screen to be taken to the basic Journals search screen, click on Full Text Articles at the bottom of the screen then click on the relevant journal title you would like to browse, followed by the year, then issue number, followed by the citation link to view the full text of a journal article.

HeinOnline

Searching UK and EU related law journals on HeinOnline

To access the search screen for journals on HeinOnline, from the home page click on Law Journal Library then click on the Search tab. Enter your search term(s) and click on the ready to send icon (to the right of the search box). For a more detailed search screen after clicking on the Search tab click on Advanced Search.

To search an individual journal or selected journals on HeinOnline from the home page click on Law Journal Library then click on the Search tab. Click on Advanced Search. Select the title or titles from the list of journal titles that you would like to search, enter your search term(s) in the Search for box, select any further search requirements then click on Search. 

Browsing UK and EU related law journals on HeinOnline

From the home page click on click on Law Journal Library. Find the journal you would like to browse by using the A-Z list at the top of the screen. The contents of each journal can be viewed by clicking on the + (plus) sign to the left of a journals title, then drilling down through the contents of the holdings by clicking on the volume/year links followed by the Table of Contents links for each volume, that will appear on the left of the screen.
