Student satisfaction survey praises learning resources

Students voting in the 2010 NSS (National Student Satisfaction) survey have voted Cardiff the best in Wales, and fifth in the Russell Group, for learning resource provision.
Information Services has played a key role in the positive results, with the overall percentage agreement rating for learning resources rising 2% on 2009's results. Agreement with the statement 'The library resources and services are good enough for my needs' has also risen by four percentage points (to 89%) on the previous year.
Satisfaction with access to IT resources, provided in partnership with academic schools, is also above the average score for Russell Group institutions at 90%.
For each individual statement within the learning resources theme, Cardiff is ranked in the top five within the Russell Group, the top two in Wales and in the top 18 across the sector.
