Europe Day quiz 2010

The Cardiff EDC (European Documentation Centre) held another successful and enjoyable Europe Day Quiz on the evening of 10 May 2010. Twelve teams, including staff and students from Cardiff University, UWIC, Coleg Gwent and Enterprise Europe Network Wales, competed to answer questions on all aspects of Europe – from current affairs to sport, culture and food and drink.
The European Commission Office in Wales generously provided for a lavish buffet.
The Europe Day Quiz was aimed at promoting awareness of the EU and countries within it, as well as providing the opportunity for networking in an informal environment.
A team from the School of Psychology won the quiz.

The EDC provides the largest and most wide-ranging collection of information in Wales about the European Union, the countries of Europe and the wider Europe for Cardiff University and beyond. The primary aim of the EDC is to aid the academic study of European integration and the growing European dimension in other academic disciplines.
