Park and Ride Information for Cardiff Open Day

Arriving in Cardiff from the M4 or from the A470, it is easy to take the train into the University.  The enclosed map shows the route from junction 32 of the M4 or from the A470 on the A4054 through Whitchurch to Llandaff Park & Ride station (approx. 2 miles).  The station for the University, Cathays, is on the campus (see Location Guide sent with your invitation to the open day) and the train journey takes only 3 to 4 minutes.

The current return rail fare is approx. £2.00 and trains from Llandaff to Cathays run approximately every 15 minutes.  Car parking at Llandaff station is free.  The trains are run by Arriva Trains.

According to the current timetable, there are trains scheduled to run from Llandaff to Cathays at the following times:

11.10, 11.26, 11.34 and every 10-15 minutes from then.

For your return journey, there are trains from Cathays back to Llandaff scheduled at 16.43, 16.48, 17.03 and 17.13.
