Work-related Placement Schemes

Work-related learning can be defined as a planned activity that uses the context of work to develop knowledge, skills and understanding useful in work, including learning through the experience of work, learning about work and working practices, and learning the skills for work.

Many Schools/Directorates within Cardiff University offer to take individuals for short work-related learning throughout the academic year. The Human Resources Division is often asked for advice and guidance regarding these placements.  Detailed below are some of the most frequently asked questions and some guidelines to ensure that Cardiff University is providing high quality placement schemes.
