Teaching, Learning & Assessment
Creating an Inclusive Learning Environment
This seminar aims to introduce academic staff to the principles of inclusive curriculum design and delivery, and offers participants an opportunity to explore how these ideas might enrich their own teaching practice. Participants will gain a basic understanding of relevant equality legislation and will also learn what to do when a student discloses a disability. The seminar will be interactive, allowing staff to discuss a range of practical examples. It will be useful for all academic staff, particularly Heads of School, those in charge of Programmes of Study, and those who have a disabled student in their class, or will have in the near future.
