Your Employment Rights: Fixed-Term Employment

This session will give an overview of the new procedures and processes for the University's management of fixed-term contracts effective from 1 August 2010, including information on the Fixed-Term Employees (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment Regulations 2002) legislation and the University's redeployment scheme. It will also provide information on how to access individual advice if required. In advance of the session, attendees are recommended to read 'Research Staff Briefing Note - Changes to the Management of Fixed Term Contracts' accessible on the Research Staff website.
