Research in Context: Engagement and Impact

1 day

This National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement developed workshop will support researchers to reflect on the social and ethical implications of research, and explore ways of responding to this through engagement with others. This course will enable researchers to discover for themselves some of the many benefits of engaging with society, and explore how to navigate the social and ethical implications of their research. It will enable them to develop an awareness of the issues and opportunities, and explore their responses to them. Participants will be encouraged to think through the implications for their research design, conduct and dissemination.
