The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment is increasingly becoming one of the most necessary skills for being truly effective in the research environment, both at the interdisciplinary university level and with external organisations. This workshop will:

• explore the skills that are required for effective collaboration;
• identify the barriers, and the opportunities;
• understand the pitfalls – and how to overcome them;
• examine how you can use collaboration to increase the opportunities open to you as a research professional.
