Gift Options

As a gesture of appreciation and to mark the occasion the University would like to present all staff being recognised for their service with a gift. Staff achieving either twenty-five or forty years continous service between January 2006 and June 2008 were invited to choice from one of three options: a crystal gift, a gift from the Aspirations Gift Directory, a donation to charity.

Crystal Gift

Waterford Crystal John Rocha 4 Red Wine Glasses

A crystal gift from Waterford Crystal’s John Rocha ranges. Staff selecting this option can choice one of three crystal gifts: a set of four Signature wine glasses, 10” Signature bowl, 12” Geo vase. The wine glasses and bowl are also accompanied by a box of Thorntons’ Continental chocolates.

Aspirations Gift Directory

A choice of gift/gifts offered via the Aspirations Gift Directory. Staff selecting this option can choice from a wide variety of gifts offered via the Aspirations Gift Directory ranging from jewellery and watches to electrical goods and homeware to lifestyle goods and activity days. Staff selecting this option will be presented with details to a personal account credited with 1355 points.

Donation to Charity

A donation to any UK registered charity/charities of your choice. Staff who wish to donate the value of their gift to charity are presented with £150 of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) vouchers in denominations of £25. These can be donated to any UK registered charity/charities as per a standard charitable donation. The recipient charity can then redeem the voucher directly with CAF.
