Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the University
Award Criteria
The 2012 Vice-Chancellor’s Award is to be presented to the School that has achieved the best overall results in the National Student Survey.
Special mention was given to:
- The School of Healthcare Studies, for achieving an overall satisfaction score of 95% and scoring in the top quartile within the University in 6 out of the 7 thematic areas.
- The School of Architecture, for achieving a 93% overall satisfaction score and scoring in the top quartile within the University in 4 out of the 7 thematic areas
- Biology, for achieving the most dramatic improvement in the comparative tables with others in the same subject code, having gone up 45 places to the position of 3/63
- English Studies, for achieving an excellent improvement in the comparative tables, having gone up 26 places to the position of 20/109
Winner of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to the University:
- The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, for achieving the highest overall satisfaction rate at School level of 97%, and scores in the top quartile within the University for all 7 thematic areas
