Whorl, circular, globular section. Complete. Centrally pierced hole, slightly waisted section, interior smoothed. Minimum hole diameter 7 mm. Exterior smoothed, but battered.

Loom weight, pear-shaped with similar but elongated section. Complete. Pierced near apex by gouging with blunt tool 2 mm wide from both sides. Hole section very waisted. Stray toolmark or possible abortive attempt to pierce towards base. Slightly battered. Possible pebble.

Fishing weight, hogback shape, similar but more subround section. Complete. Pierced at both ends from both sides by blunt tool 2 mm wide, holes waisted in section, with grooves 9 mm wide cut around them. Third hole in one end piercing dorsal hole. Holes subround with 8 mm minimum diameter. Occasional grooves and pecks on battered surface from similar tool to above.

3 joining sherds, including 1 rim, from round vessel. Smoothed, simple flat-topped rim curving slightly inwards, but walls angled to make bowl slightly wide-mouthed. Interior smoothed with hints of flat-bladed tooling, some sooted accretions. Exterior smoothed, heavy sooted accretions, some tooling on lower wall from 3 mm wide, flat blade in herring-bone pattern. Breaks medium-fresh, some sooted. Internal diam 400 mm, internal depth 160 mm.

Bead / whorl, slightly subcircular, flat section. Complete. Pierced centrally, hole with slightly waisted, smoothed out section. Minimum hole diameter 6 mm. Freehand incised line < 1 mm wide and deep on each face around hole, 1-2 mm away from hole mouth. Possibly two short lines incised across circular line on one face. Exterior facetted but smoothed, slightly battered.

3 joining sherds from round vessel. Interior smoothed and worn. Exterior worn and battered, sooted and accreted with indications of chipping underneath. Breaks medium worn. Two holes bored all way through wall from exterior, both funnel-shaped, 23-6 mm diam and 16-6 mm diam. No signs of iron in them.

Whorl, circular, flattened globular section. Incomplete. Centrally pierced, hole slightly waisted in section, smoothed. Minimum hole diameter 7 mm. Exterior smoothed, slightly battered. Breaks VERY fresh - probably modern!

Weight. Complete. Cylindrical with bulbous trilobed base, divided into lobes by short vertical grooves 4 mm wide on sides of base. Above base is a recessed horizontal zone 18-21 mm high, bounded by freehand incised lines and divided vertically by irregularly spaced incised lines around 90% of zone. This has terminal incised lines of a vertical line and a <-shaped tongue; within this area the recess has been finely and densely pecked with a sharp tool <1 mm wide. The remaining area of the recessed zone has been occasionally pecked and incised with small square grids. Above the recessed area the sides flare out to a flat circular platform, centrally surmounted by a stepped loop handle 42 x 17 x 13 mm high. A hole, 7 mm minimum diameter, has been gouged through the loop-block from both sides, also cutting 3 mm into the platform. The loop has a

distinct polished band above the hole from use by suspension.

Pierced slightly off-centre, hole slightly waisted and smoothed. Minimum hole diameter 7 mm. Exterior facetted and smoothed, battered.

Mould block, rectangular. Complete. Circular mould 52 mm in diameter, 8 mm deep with radial lines incised freehand, 5-9 mm apart at circumference. Small bar mould adjacent, 33 x 6 x 4 mm deep. 3 bar moulds on opposite face 41 x 5 x 6 mm deep, 68 x 9 x 8 mm deep and 54 x 8 x 7 mm deep. A bar mould in each of the long sides 52 x 8 x 6 mm deep and 66 x 13 x 12 mm deep. All surfaces sooted, with slight wear and sheen from use. Scratches and striations from shaping and smoothing evident, and facets within some of bar moulds indicate overlapping use of flat blade c 3 mm wide.

Lamp, subrectangular with rounded corners and semi-oval thumb-grip 42 x 33 x 21 mm thick. Complete. Interior walls vertical. All surfaces covered with multi-directional scratches < 1 mm wide form shaping and smoothing of object. Very slight traces of sooting on exterior base; top and interior perfectly clean.
