Disability History Month Events


Disability History Month:  Information Exhibition

A drop-in session for staff and students for information on disability support offered by Cardiff University and in the local community.  This will also be an opportunities to provide feedback to us on disability support. Representatives will be available from the following divisions:

  • Disability & Dyslexia Service
  • Disability Staff Network
  • Diverse Cymru (external organisation)
  • Equality Unit- Governance & Compliance
  • Estates
  • Information Services
  • Human Resources
  • Lifelong Learning
  • School of Healthcare Studies with Pedal Power
  • Staff Counselling

Date, Time & Location: Monday 3rd December 2012 11.00am – 3.00pm in the Viriamu Jones Gallery, Main Building.

Evening Event – Digital Stories:  Understanding Mental Health Issues

An opportunity for staff and students to share in individuals’ experiences of living with mental health issues and to take part in a panel discussion on promoting positive support – facilitated by Mind Cymru.

Wednesday 5th December 2012 5.30pm – 8.30pm in the Julian Hodge Lecture Theatre.

Refreshments will be served between 5.30 – 6.30pm in the Foyer.
