We have an extensive outreach programme that encourages students of various age groups to aspire to and prepare for higher education.
Our Schools and Colleges Liaison team works with over 240 schools and colleges each year, supporting the work of teachers in preparing students for higher education.
We offer a range of information sessions that can be delivered to sixth form students, in small or whole year-groups, as well as parents.
We run a range of programmes and activities to raise aspirations and promote higher education to traditionally under-represented groups in Wales. These are offered to students in years 11 to 13.
We work in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University (formerly UWIC) to raise awareness and promote the benefits of higher education through HE Roadshow assemblies, delivered to year 10 and 11 students in Welsh schools.
We hold conferences for teachers and careers advisers to showcase our newest facilities and provide information about changes in higher education and the application process.
Our April Open Day provides an opportunity for students to find out more about their chosen course and the academic and social facilities. Bookings from school and college groups are welcomed.
