Masters degrees

With one further year of study on top of your bachelor degree, a masters degree gives you a more in depth knowledge of your subject.

We offer several different masters degrees. Please note that an academic school may offer more than one degree type:

MArch

A Masters of Architecture is awarded to students who complete their further studies in architecture. They are awarded by the Welsh School of Architecture.

MChem

A Masters of Chemistry is awarded to students who complete their further studies in chemistry. They are awarded by the School of Chemistry.

MEng

A Masters in Engineering is awarded to students who complete their further studies in engineering. They are awarded by the School of Engineering.

MESci

A Masters of Earth Sciences is awarded to students who complete their further studies in earth sciences. They are awarded by the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences.

MMath

A Masters of Mathematics is awarded to students who complete their further studies in mathematics. They are awarded by the School of Mathematics.

MPharm

A Masters of Pharmacy is awarded to students who complete their further studies in pharmacy. They are awarded by the Welsh School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

MPhys

A Masters of Physics is awarded to students who complete their further studies in Physics. They are awarded by the School of Physics and Astronomy.
