We consider a range of relevant experience and qualifications, including Access, GNVQ, BTec, IBacc, Highers and other recognised British and overseas qualifications. Most applicants offer A/AS level qualifications. Normally we ask for three A-levels, without specifying Religious Studies. General Studies will be excluded for some Joint Honours courses. We will consider two AS levels in place of one A level. We welcome applications from mature-age students (over 21 years old at time of proposed entry).
BBB (300 tariff points) is the typical offer for Single Honours. For Joint Honours programmes specific subjects and grades may be required. Offers vary from BBB (300 points) to AAA (360 points).
This professional studies degree is open ONLY to mature-age candidates sponsored and already undergoing professional training by a Christian denomination.
In the case of applicants whose first language is not English, competence in the English language is also a criterion of admission.

There are no specific additional requirements for admission.
The School accepts applications from resit candidates. If a qualification is to be sat again, the School will base any offer on the grade predicted for the resitting, and not on the grade already achieved, unless that achieved grade is (despite the applicant’s wish to improve it) sufficient in itself to warrant the School making an unconditional offer.
