A-level: ABB or BBB, no set combination of subjects.
Welsh Baccalaureate: Pass Advanced Diploma plus AB to BB at A-level, no set combination of subjects.
International Baccalaureate: 33-32 points.
All applicants must normally have passed English Language and Mathematics at GCSE (at least grade C) or have an equivalent qualification. General Studies is not normally accepted as an A-level subject for Admissions purposes.
A-level: AAB or ABB, including Geography.
Welsh Baccalaureate: Pass Advanced Diploma plus AA or AB at A-level, including Geography.
International Baccalaureate: 34-33 points.

If you are studying BTEC, we would normally expect you to get distinctions in all subjects studied (DDD). The School will also consider applicants studying for Vocational A-levels and other technical qualifications.
Such applicants may be offered an interview and aptitude test as an alternative means of showing their academic potential. Decisions as to whether or not to invite such applicants for interview are taken by reference to the entirety of the information disclosed on the UCAS form, with particular emphasis on any past voluntary work or paid employment history.
We welcome applications from overseas students and the School already has a number of overseas students studying undergraduate courses. An offer will be made to you based on achieving an entry standard equivalent to UK qualifications.
In the case of applicants whose first language is not English, competence in the English language is also a criterion of admission. More information is available on the English Language Requirements webpage.
We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 or over before commencing study) who have formal qualifications equivalent to A-level, or who have relevant work experience, or who have completed an appropriate Access course.
There are no specific additional requirements for admission.
Resit applicants are acceptable to the School, and the standard entry requirements will apply.
