Students have regular meetings with their personal tutor
All students are assigned to an academic member of staff within their home School who serves as their personal tutor.
Your personal tutor will wish to see you regularly to discuss your studies, monitor progress and provide feedback.
If you have a personal problem, they may be able to offer advice or, if appropriate, put you in touch with professional counsellors in the University or the Students' Union.
Whether an academic or personal problem, your tutor will be a sympathetic listener who treats your problems seriously and with discretion.
Welsh speaking students can request to be assigned to a Welsh speaker as their personal tutor.
