University Graduate College: Enhancing the experience of Postgraduate Researchers

A graduate's view

Cameron Hudson

"Following graduation from the school in 2008, my first venture involved organising and completing a charity and research expedition to the South Pole. Since then I have held the role of professional services manager for the UK's largest provider of refractive surgery and am currently the Head of Professional Affairs, UK and Ireland for a global leader in the manufacture of surgical, pharmaceutical and vision care products. I have been fortunate to maintain good relationships with the school even now in my current capacity and we are currently working on several collaborative projects.

"The four years of postgraduate study have undoubtedly been some of the most helpful, enjoyable and challenging in my career to date. In addition, the experiences gained during this time have opened doors and created opportunities which beforehand would not have been possible."
