3. Build your study abroad program ensuring that you have selected sufficient credits - 60 for each semester. You will need to pay attention to the level and credit value of each course. You will also need to consider the semester the course will be taught in. There may also be special academic requirements for some fields of study. 4. Check with your home university that credit can be transferred for the modules you have selected.

• Can I take modules across different academic schools?
  Modules in the catalogue are listed by subject area. However, you are able to take courses across academic schools. It is recommended that you do not select courses across too many academic schools as this makes the possibility of timetable clashes more likely.
  
• How many credits should I take?
  It is recommended that you take 60 credits per semester. This is the same amount of credits taken by students studying for their full degree at Cardiff University. • When will I get my timetable?
  In contrast to education systems in countries like the USA, students at Cardiff put together their timetables when they complete the enrolment process on campus. As with every step of the process, you will be fully supported by the Study Abroad Office at Cardiff University.
  
• Can I change my mind about my selected modules?
  When you reach Cardiff there will be an add / drop period of a maximum of two weeks after the beginning of the semester when you will be able to change modules.
