Entry requirements

You should have successfully completed your secondary education in your own country at a level equivalent to 12th grade. Qualifications from all countries are considered. You will also need to show that you have the English language skills necessary to take an active part in the programme. The qualifications you must be able to show in your application are shown in the following tables:

English Language Requirements

IELTS (Academic)	5.5* (minimum subscores: 4.0 in all areas)

*Please note that the English language entry requirement for students wanting to study the IFP in Health and Life Sciences with a view to applying for Medicine or Pharmacy is IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 78.

*Please note these scores are required by students wishing to progress into Cardiff Business School, Cardiff School of Engineering and School of Biosciences. Students wishing to apply for other undergraduate subjects should contact the IFP office for further information
