IELTS test results are released to candidates 13 days after the test.
A Test Report Form (TRF) showing results will be posted to candidates by first class post. The day candidates receive their results will depend on the postal service in their area.
Results cannot be given to candidates over the telephone or by fax/email.
Candidates are able to check their results online from 9.30am on the day results are issued. Full details about how to check results online are sent to candidates with their test information pack.
Results can be collected from Reception, Deri House, 2-4 Park Grove, Cardiff, CF10 3BN between 9.00am and 12 noon on 'results issued' dates. Candidates must bring the original ID document used on the test day. Only candidates themselves are permitted to collect results.
Up to 5 copies can also be sent directly to receiving institutions, organisations or employers within 1 month of the test date at no extra charge, if they are detailed on the candidate's application form.
Candidates may apply to the centre where they took the test for further copies of the TRF for a period of 2 years.
Additional copies cannot be given to candidates.
Candidates who require additional copies to be sent to receiving institutions or organisations more than one month after their test must complete an Application for the Issue of Additional TRF's form. Please contact the IELTS Administrator to obtain a copy of this form.
