Programme overview

The University for English Study programme (formerly known as the "Bridge" programme) has entry points in September, January and April. To work out the best month to start visit the Entry Requirements page.

The University for English Study programme includes:

• Approximately 20 hours per week plus directed study. Read more about the content of the Programme.
• A formal transcript showing assessments undertaken and indicating your level of language proficiency at completion of the course
• One-to-one tutorial guidance and support throughout your studies.
• Free internet access on all University computers.
• Use of University academic and social facilities, including resource centres, computer workstations, sport and fitness centres, and the Students’ Union.
