Foundation courses
If you graduated from the Bahraini High School system, you will be required to successfully complete a one year International Foundation Programme before entering Cardiff University's undergraduate programmes.
You will need an overall average of 85% or above in the Tawjahiya School Leaving Certificate, with at least 85% in key subject areas to qualify for the International Foundation Programme.
Undergraduate courses
If you have A levels or the International Baccalaureate with good grades, you will be considered for direct entry on to Cardiff University's undergraduate degree programmes.
If you have graduated with the Tawjahiya (Secondary School Leaving Certificate), you will normally be required to complete the International Foundation Programme
Postgraduate taught courses
If you hold a four year bachelor's degree, you will normally be considered for admission on to a one year master's degree.
Cardiff University will generally reuiqre a GPA of 3.2 (out of 4) for entry to postgraduate taught programmes.
Postgraduate research programmes
If you have a master's degree from a recognised university, you will be considered for PhD Study.
English language
A relevant English language qualification is also required — normally a minimum of 6.5 IELTS or TOEFL 575 (230 CBT), however, this may vary from course to course.
