Yes, to complete online enrolment you will also need to either pay at least the 1st instalment of your tuition fees or provide evidence of sponsorship for each year of your course.
Any fees paid in advance can be deducted from the money you need to show for your student visa. We however do advise that it is best to get your visa, and then pay fees to avoid complications.
