If you are planning to spend some time in Cardiff prior to the start of term you could think about taking a room in a hotel, bed & breakfast or hostel. Hostels cost about £20 per night. Bed & breakfasts charge around £30 -£40 per night, and hotels charge between £50 and £105 per night.
All types of accommodation can be found near the campus and the central city area.
