What is provided in University accommodation?

All rooms have:

• a bed with mattress and pillow
• a desk and chair
• a bookshelf
• a wardrobe
• a waste bin

All residences have:

• an ironing board
• a dustpan and brush
• a kitchen bin
• a mop and bucket
• a microwave
• a notice-board
• blinds/curtains

Things you’ll need in your University residences

You will need to provide your own pillow, bedding, towels, personal crockery, cutlery, saucepans and other cooking utensils. You can buy all of this cheaply in Cardiff, so do not bring this with you because your suitcase will be too heavy to carry!

Rooms in Halls of Residence (not Student Houses/Flats) also have connection points to the University network and high speed internet access.
