The Great Hall is a 1,600 capacity venue for major concerts.

Approximately 25 are held through the year, maintaining Cardiff’s position as a prime venue on the national tour circuit. Ellie Goulding, Funeral for a Friend, Chase & Status, Ocean Colour Scene, Kids in Glass Houses, Tinie Tempah and the NME Tour have all played recently.

The Union also organises large events at regular intervals, when up to 4,000 students attend an array of entertainment that, for the energetic, can last most of the night.
