NHS Scheme eligibility

Cardiff University is not an NHS employer therefore to enable certain new staff to remain in the NHS pension scheme from when they join our employment you will have to meet certain criteria.

Member Contribution Increases 2013/14 effective 1 April 2013.

There is a NHS Pension Scheme contributions calculator for 2013-14 on the DH website.
The calculator enables members to calculate how much their contributions will increase, if at all, on a monthly basis, on both a gross and net of tax relief basis and can be found here:
