To receive a full bursary you must be paying  tuition fees of over £3000 in the current academic year.  Where a student is only paying fees of between £1500 and £3000 in the current academic year, (often during a placement year) they will receive a bursary of 50% of the standard bursary award for their household income.  The following year when they resume paying full fees; their bursary will return to the normal level.
