Undergraduate

The School offers a wide range of degrees, including BA degrees in Languages, BScEcon in Politics and LLB degrees in Languages and Law. The BA programme offers students the opportunity to pursue their own areas of interest with a wide variety of modules in literature, regional and cultural studies and history.
Languages and cultures
Students can study Single Honours - French, German, Italian and Spanish (including Catalan) - or Joint Honours degrees with Politics, Law and other Humanities subjects. Students may also study any two of the languages taught in the School as a Joint Honours programme.

Politics
The BScEcon in Politics can be studies as a Single Honours degree or be combined with a wide range of subjects such as a language taught in the school, Modern History, Law or Economics. Find out more about Politics.
Cardiff-Bordeaux Joint Degree/Diploma
The School also offers a joint degree in French and Politics in conjunction with the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Bordeaux. This allows students from Cardiff and Bordeaux to study two years in Cardiff and two years in Bordeaux, and to graduate with a BScEcon degree in Politics from Cardiff and a Diploma from Bordeaux.
