Humanities Building
Entrances
From Corbett Road, follow the path past the Arts and Social Studies Library, where there is a short and slightly steep slope, then a flat path towards the entrance to the Humanities Building.
From Colum Drive and the car park, there is level access into the Humanities Building. There is a second entrance adjacent to two accessible parking bays on Colum Drive. Internal Circulation
There are three lifts in the building. Two lifts are situated close to the main entrance from Colum Drive, both have mirrors on the back wall and the floor levels are indicated by audio and visual means. These lifts service ground to the fourth floors.
The third lift is situated close to the refectory on the ground floor, opposite the Welsh for Adults Centre. This lift has mirrors on all sides, a handrail and services ground to the fifth floors. This lift might not be suitable for all types of wheelchairs as it is the smallest lift in Humanities.
There is a platform stair lift between the fourth and fifth floors for people who find the third lift uncomfortable to use.
