How to Apply
Step 1 - Information
The decision you are making is incredibly important, use this website and any other resources to find out as much as possible about the school and your preferred course.
We suggest that if possible you visit the university.
If necessary, request a brochure or additional information.
If you still need assistance please contact the admissions office or admissions tutors directly.
Step 2 - Applying
Undergraduate
Anybody who wishes to apply to any UK university, including Cardiff, has to do so through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS):
If you are at School or College you will be able to obtain a UCAS application form and handbook from your head teacher or administrator. Otherwise you can contact them directly:
The UCAS handbook and admissions form gives full details of how to apply to Cardiff and all other UK universities as well as providing a complete listing of undergraduate courses.
Postgraduate
Postgraduate applications are made directly to the School
Application forms can be downloaded from the resources section of the University's Postgraduate website.
Alternatively you can contact the admissions office (address below) for an application pack - if you requested additional information then you will be sent the application forms with your information pack.
Step 3 - Submission

When you have completed your UCAS form and the reference section has been filled in by an appropriate person, it will be sent to UCAS who will then distribute copies of the form to all universities to which you have applied.
