Biography
I teach various undergraduate modules for the BA in English Literature and the BA in Cultural Criticism and courses on the MA in English Literature.
I am Director of the Centre for Editorial and Intertextual Research (CEIR) and director of the AHRC-funded Database of Mid-Victorian Wood-Engraved Illustration (DMVI). I would welcome comments and queries about this project and, more generally, about illustration studies.
