Cardiff School of English Communication and Philosophy

The programmes in English Language and Communication are taught by members of the Centre for Language and Communication Research (CLCR). This group of researchers has a well-established international reputation for their work in all areas of Sociolinguistics, Applied Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Psycholinguistics and Multimodal Communication. The Centre also offers an exciting range of postgraduate taught and research programmes. The research environment in English Language and Literature in the School was rated as ‘world class’ by the RAE2008.
