Our Research Facilities

Analytical Facilities

In general, School staff and postgraduates are encouraged to use the facilities, when appropriate, for their research, and costs are met as far as possible by direct provision from grants. However, bookings need to be made well in advance, and for visitors and postgraduates authorisation is required from the relevant research supervisor. To arrange a booking please contact Peter Fisher or the person directly responsible for the specific facility. Some technical assistance can be expected, but users with a substantial task should anticipate carrying out much of the routine work themselves. Scale charges for extra-Departmental users may be obtained on request.
