University Scholarships 2013

The School of Chemistry is very proud to award the following students University Scholarships: Danielle Merrikin, Megan Jones, Thomas Hagan, Alexander Jones, Ruth Clarke, Emyr Myers, Sarah North, Tyler Thomas, Hywel Williams and Marina Yamamoto all will receive £3000. All these students achieved AAA or above in their A-level examinations and this record number were selected to receive this University Scholarship award in recognition of their excellent academic achievements. We welcome all students to the School and hope that they enjoy their experiences whilst studying their chemistry degree here at Cardiff.

Both Thomas Jenkins (MSc in Physical Organic Chemistry) and Daniel Rodriguez Martin (MSc in Chemical Biology) have been awarded £3,000 for acheiving First Class Honours degrees. Both are now part of our new postgraduate taught course cohort and we congratulate and welcome both students to the School.
