Five Permanent Academic Positions Available

Five permanent academic positions are available in Cardiff School of Chemistry. Applications are sought from candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and enhance existing strengths, and would be particularly welcome in a number of key areas (synthetic organic chemistry; biological catalysis; biosynthesis and manufacturing for the future; bioinorganic chemistry; chemistry of inorganic materials; soft matter physical chemistry).
You should have an excellent publication record, proven track record and the ability to obtain research funding. You should be an inspiring and innovative teacher. For appropriately qualified and experienced individuals, promoted appointments will be made, up to the level of Professor.

The appointment will be made at a level commensurate with experience.
Lecturer: £30,122 - £35,938 per annum (Grade 6)
Lecturer: £38,140 - £44,166 per annum (Grade 7)
Senior Lecturer: £45,486 - £52,706 per annum (Grade 8)
Reader: £54,283 - £55,908 per annum (Grade 8; points 50-51)
Chair: A point on the professorial salary scale
