General information which will help you get the most out of your study in Cardiff is available on the main University web site.
A significant amount of course material is now available in electronic form on the Learning Central e-Education site. You will need your user ID and password to log into the system, and from here you will be able to access course materials for the modules which you are taking. The material available varies depending on the course, but includes complete lecture notes in downloadable form, assessment information and revision guides.
For all queries related to your course, you can contact your personal tutor in the first instance. You will have been notified of your personal tutor when you first arrived in Cardiff. A complete list of personal tutors is held in the School Office.
The Director of Undergraduate Studies is Dr Chris Morley, who is also the year tutor for years 1, 2 and 3. In Dr Morley’s absence, queries related to your year of study should be directed to the deputy year tutors. For year 1 this is Dr Phil Davies. For year 2 this is Dr Mark Elliott. For year 3 BSc this is Dr Damien Murphy. For year 3 MChem this is Dr Ian Fallis.The MChem year 4 tutor is Dr Ian Fallis, with Dr Nancy Dervisi as his deputy.
